Come see a viewing of ADOPTED and the new educational segment “Infertility: A Complicated Loss” with co-producer Nancy Kim Parsons. The film will be followed by a panel discussion with Ms. Parsons, Peggy Studaker, social worker and adoptive parent, and Cheri Register, the author of “Beyond Good Intentions”.

Cost is $20 per person which includes dinner and a free 2009 MNTRFF shirt (while supplies last). Paid AdopSource members will receive a $5 discount.

4:45pm – Infertility: A Complicated Loss, followed by Q&A

On Sat Nov 14, ADOPTED kicks off a full day of films and readings that showcase transracial and transcultural voices from the adoption community at the first Minnesota Transracial Film Festival.

In honor of Adoption Awareness Month, Adoption Mosaic is hosting a light dinner and a special screening of ADOPTED, followed by a discussion with Dr. Ally Burr-Harris, child psychologist, and Astrid Dabbeni, executive director of Adoption Mosaic. *CEU’s and CLE’s are available pending approval.

Families with Children from China of Greater New York – Westchester Chapter presents a screening of ADOPTED at the Theater in the Ossining Public Library. The screening will be followed by Q & A with filmmakers Nancy Kim Parsons and Barb Lee, facilitated by Dr. Amanda Baden. A short viewing of the companion film We Can Do Better will also be shown.
