John and Jacqui Trainer:After a year of trying unsuccessfully to conceive using infertility treatments, John and Jacqui decided to adopt a girl from China. The waiting time was grueling, but in April 2007 they traveled to China to pick up their daughter, Roma XinPei. Jen Fero:Found abandoned at a police station in Seoul, South Korea, Jen was adopted by a family from Oregon in 197?. She grew up in a small town that had no Asians, Asian-Americans, or Asian adoptees. Jen rarely thought about her experience as a Korean adoptee until her adoptive mother was diagnosed with brain cancer in 2006.
